Taiwanese Style Sticky Rice

Do you like the chewy and sticky texture of sticky rice? Cause I do! There’s something truly irresistible about the comforting and indulgent nature of this delightful rice dish. So, my cravings just led me to make this quick and easy Taiwanese style sticky rice dish. I combined fragrant shiitake mushrooms and savoury tofu cubes, infusing the dish with umami flavours and hearty goodness. The aroma is simply mouthwatering. Who else loves sticky rice?   • 5 dried shiitake mushrooms shiitake mushrooms
  • 80 g @cauldronfoods marinated tofu cubes
  • 1 pinch white pepper
  • 1 handful fried shallots
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 bowl steamed sticky rice
  • Cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp maple syrup
