Beef Ragu

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 750 g beef chuck steak
  • 125 ml tomato paste
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 600 g passata
  • 450 ml beef stock
  • 2 springs fresh rosemary
  • 10 springs fresh thyme
  • 2 leaves dried bay leaves
  • salt
  • pepper
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • cooked pasta
