Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Aromae. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of aromae.net, including any purchases made through the website.

Throughout these Terms, “Aromae,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Aromae, an online business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. “You” and “your” refer to any person who visits the website or places an order.

By accessing our website, adding products to your cart, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UAE law remain unaffected.

2. Eligibility to use the website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order through our website.

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is complete and accurate, you are authorised to use the selected payment method, you are legally capable of entering into a purchase agreement, and you are purchasing products for lawful personal use.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, abusive, intended for unauthorised resale or otherwise unlawful.

3. Products

Aromae sells decorative fragrance products, air fresheners and compatible mounting accessories intended for suitable personal and everyday spaces, including vehicles where appropriate.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, dimensions, designs and packaging accurately. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen and lighting; products may have small variations in finish, shade, fragrance or appearance; product photographs may include decorative items that are not included; fragrance perception and strength vary; and fragrance intensity naturally reduces over time.

The product title, selected colour or compatibility option, quantity and contents shown on the product page and order summary determine what is included in your purchase.

4. Decorative designs and brand affiliations

Aromae products are decorative fragrance products and accessories sold under the Aromae brand. Certain products may feature familiar everyday silhouettes, such as bags, sandals, horses or other decorative shapes.

Aromae is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected to any fashion house, vehicle manufacturer or third-party brand unless expressly stated. Vehicle and model names may be used only to describe compatibility. All third-party names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Prices and currency

All prices are displayed in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED). Prices may change without prior notice, but a price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

The total payable amount is shown before you submit your order and may include the product price, delivery charge, applicable VAT or other legally required charges, and any valid promotional adjustment.

Our current standard UAE delivery charge is AED 25 unless a promotion or different amount is clearly displayed during checkout.

6. Orders

Adding a product to your cart does not reserve it. After placing an order, you should receive an order-confirmation email containing the order details. This confirms that we received your order but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted or dispatched.

We may contact you to verify your identity, telephone number, delivery address, order contents, payment or any information needed to complete delivery.

An order may be refused or cancelled if a product is unavailable, a listed price or product detail contains an obvious error, customer or payment information cannot be verified, the order appears fraudulent or abusive, delivery is unavailable, or circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment. Any payment already collected for a cancelled order will be refunded through an appropriate method.

7. Guest checkout

Aromae currently operates through guest checkout. Customers are not required to create an account.

You are responsible for providing a correct email address and telephone number. Order confirmations, updates and receipts will be sent using the details entered at checkout. Aromae is not responsible for missed communications caused by incorrect details, spam filters or a full inbox.

8. Payment

Only payment methods actually available and selectable during checkout may be used. Depending on availability, these may include credit or debit cards, digital wallets and approved third-party payment providers.

Displaying a payment-provider logo elsewhere on the website does not guarantee that the method is active or available for every order.

Electronic payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Aromae does not directly store complete card details. Transactions may be subject to the payment provider’s own terms, security checks, approval process and privacy policy.

9. Delivery

Aromae currently delivers within the United Arab Emirates to locations supported by our delivery partners. We aim to provide next-day UAE delivery for eligible orders, but all delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

Delivery may be affected by the time and day the order was placed, weekends and public holidays, incorrect or incomplete addresses, customer availability, remote locations, severe weather, road restrictions, courier delays, high order volumes or events outside our reasonable control.

10. Delivery information and failed deliveries

You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including the correct emirate, area, building or villa number, street details and telephone number.

Where delivery cannot be completed because the address is incorrect or incomplete, the customer cannot be reached, access is unavailable or the order is refused, an additional delivery charge may be required before the order is resent.

An order may be considered delivered when accepted at the provided address by the customer, a household member, receptionist, security desk or another person reasonably appearing authorised to accept it.

11. Order changes and cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible at aromaeofficial@hotmail.com to request an order change or cancellation. We will try to assist, but changes and cancellations are not guaranteed once an order has been prepared, handed to the courier or dispatched.

12. Returns and exchanges

Subject to the conditions below, unopened and unused products may be requested for return within 7 calendar days after delivery.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the product must be unused, unopened, in its original condition and packaging, complete with any included accessories, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Because Aromae products contain fragrance, products that have been opened, used, damaged after delivery or removed from sealed packaging may not be accepted for a change-of-mind return. The customer is normally responsible for return-delivery costs, and original delivery charges are generally non-refundable where the correct, undamaged product was delivered successfully.

13. Damaged, defective or incorrect products

Contact us promptly where a product arrives damaged, is defective, is materially different from its description, is not the item or option ordered, or is missing an included part.

Email aromaeofficial@hotmail.com with your order number, a description of the issue, clear photographs or video, and a photograph of the packaging and delivery label where relevant.

Where the claim is confirmed, Aromae may provide an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy. Damage caused after delivery by misuse, incorrect installation, excessive heat, improper storage, unauthorised modification or failure to follow instructions is not considered a manufacturing defect.

14. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued using an appropriate method based on how the original order was paid. Processing times may vary depending on the bank, card issuer or payment provider. After Aromae submits a refund, we do not control how quickly the customer’s bank displays the funds.

15. Promotions and discount codes

Promotional codes must be entered before checkout, cannot be exchanged for cash, may be restricted to selected products or customers, may expire, and may not be combined unless expressly stated. We may cancel a promotion published in error, misused, manipulated or affected by technical problems.

16. Product safety and proper use

Aromae fragrance products must be used responsibly and only for their intended purpose. They are not food or toys and must be kept away from children, pets, open flames and excessive heat. Avoid direct contact with eyes, mouth and sensitive skin, and stop use if irritation or an allergic reaction occurs.

Fragrance products may not be suitable for people with fragrance sensitivities, allergies, asthma or similar conditions. Aromae makes no medical, therapeutic or health claims regarding its fragrances.

17. Vehicle use and Vent Clips

Before driving, ensure every air freshener and Vent Clip is correctly selected, securely attached and suitable for the vehicle interior. Do not position or use any product where it obstructs the driver’s view, steering, airbags, controls, screens, pedals or safe ventilation operation.

Vent Clip compatibility depends on the selected option and the vehicle’s actual interior design. Vehicle model names and examples are provided as compatibility guidance only. Customers must inspect their vehicle and choose the correct option before ordering.

Do not adjust or handle the product while driving. Remove it immediately if it becomes loose, creates a distraction or affects safe vehicle operation.

18. Contact with surfaces

Fragrance materials may affect certain plastics, fabrics, leather, paint, wood, dashboards or coated surfaces when placed in prolonged direct contact. Do not place a fragrance product or fragrance liquid directly against a delicate surface unless specifically designed for that use.

19. Website accuracy

We aim to keep the website accurate and available. However, it may occasionally contain typographical errors, incorrect prices, outdated availability information, technical problems or display errors. We may correct errors and update information at any time.

20. Website availability

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, security updates, technical problems, hosting disruptions or events outside our control.

21. Intellectual property

All Aromae website content, including the brand name, logos, product names, photographs, graphics, written content, website layout, packaging artwork, videos and social-media material, is owned by or licensed to Aromae and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, copy, sell, publish, modify or commercially exploit Aromae content without prior written permission.

22. Reviews, photographs and customer content

Where you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content, you confirm that it is truthful, based on your genuine experience, owned by you or submitted with permission, and not unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory or infringing.

You grant Aromae a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display and reproduce submitted content for business and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law.

23. Prohibited use

You must not use the website to commit fraud or another unlawful act, submit false customer or payment details, interfere with website security, introduce harmful code, scrape or copy content without permission, place abusive or intentionally false orders, infringe rights, harass staff or delivery partners, or attempt unauthorised access.

24. Third-party services and links

The website may link to payment providers, couriers, social-media platforms or other third-party services. Those services are operated independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.

25. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable requirements. We may use customer information to process orders, arrange delivery, send order updates, prevent fraud, respond to enquiries, meet legal and accounting obligations, and send marketing communications where consent has been provided.

26. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aromae will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

27. Events outside our control

Aromae will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, road closures, courier interruptions, telecommunications failures, labour disputes, public emergencies, supply-chain interruptions, war or civil disturbance.

28. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any purchase made through Aromae are governed by the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Subject to any mandatory consumer-dispute rights, the competent courts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates shall have jurisdiction.

29. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

30. No waiver

If Aromae does not immediately enforce a provision, that does not mean we have waived the right to enforce it later.

31. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to products, services, policies or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
